Scott and Fenderson offers document preparation services assisting clients with the preparation of legal documents, forms and pleadings. There is an advantage of using a law firm for your document needs versus simply using a paralegal non lawyer type service. All of our documents, forms and pleadings have been drafted by lawyers. If you pay a non lawyer paralegal service for your document needs, you will receive standard forms, or fill in the blank forms. Paralegals are not allowed to create legal documents, and further are not allowed to give advice.

At Scott and Fenderson, we have been drafting and improving upon our library of legal documents and forms for over thirteen years. As a result we can share with you a wealth of experience, and a competitive advantage over nonlawyer paralegal services.

FAMILY LAW DOCUMENTS

Often clients ask for direction on how to represent themselves in their family law case. Scott and Fenderson offers document preparation services for prose litigants who cannot afford a lawyer. For those who wish to represent themselves in court, we can assisst you in the preparation of all necessary divorce forms and pleadings at a cost comparable to paralegal services. The difference is that your divorce forms will be prepared by a lawyer and not a paralegal service. Our forms are drafted by attorneys and not simply fill-in-the-blank or check-the-box type forms like those use by paralegal services. If you choose to represent your self in court, our document preparation services do not include appearances in court by a lawyer. If you wish to have one of our lawyers represent you in court, those services are available for additional fees.

CORPORATION DOCUMENTS

We can assist you with drafting your articles of incorporation for a Florida Corporation or S-Corporation. Further, we will file your articles of incorporation, and order your corporate kit, corporate seal, and stock certificates for no additional fees, you pay only the costs of the corporate kit, and the filing fee with the State of Florida.

ESTATE PLANNING DOCUMENTS

We offer a full estate planning package including a Will, Living Will, Health Care Power of Attorney, and Durable Power of Attorney. At no extra charge we provide witnesses and a notary for the signing of these documents and will maintain copies of your documents at our offices.
