Mr. Scott also holds a masters degree in Business Administration from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida, graduating with honors in 1980 and an undergraduate degree in Finance, also from the University of South Florida. Prior to obtaining his law degree, Mr. Scott worked in claims with Progressive Insurance Company and has an extensive background investigating car accidents. Attorney Scott joined the Florida Bar in 1993 and has been a member in good standing at all times. He served on the Florida Bar Grievance Committee (committee 6D, for Pinellas County, Florida) from 2002 through 2005 reviewing complaints filed against other Pinellas County lawyers and making recommendations for resolving those complaints. Practice areas include; personal injury, car accidents, drunk driving accidents, industrial accidents, bus accidents, injury, wrongful death, brain injury, traumatic brain injury, slip and fall, and truck accidents. Charles D. Scott is a third generation native of St. Petersburg, Florida. Mr. Scott's parents and grand parents also were life long residents of St. Petersburg. Mr. Scott received his law degree from Stetson University College of Law in 1992, graduating with honors.
