Scott and Fenderson, P.A. was established in 1997 in St. Petersburg, Florida, by attorney Charles D. Scott and attorney Kathryn Fenderson Scott. The firm of Scott and Fenderson, P.A. is a family owned and operated, personal service law firm. We represent injured persons in automobile accidents, and personal injury cases, and never represent insurance companies. We also represent individuals in family law, criminal law and estate planning. In our law firm the lawyers handle the cases personally rather than using case managers, and our legal assistants are support staff only and do not oversee cases.

ATTORNEY CHARLES D. SCOTT
Charles D. Scott is a third generation native of St. Petersburg, Florida. Mr. Scott's parents and grand parents also were life long residents of St. Petersburg. Mr. Scott received his law degree from Stetson University College of Law in 1992, graduating with honors. Mr. Scott also holds a masters degree in Business Administration from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida, graduating with honors in 1980 and an undergraduate degree in Finance, also from the University of South Florida.

Attorney Scott joined the Florida Bar in 1993 and began his career at the Pinellas County State Attorney's Office. He entered private practice in 1995, and joined Kathryn Fenderson in 1997 to form Scott and Fenderson PA. He served on the Florida Bar Grievance Committee (committee 6D, for Pinellas County, Florida) from 2002 through 2005 reviewing complaints filed against other Pinellas County lawyers and making recommendations for resolving those complaints.

KATHRYN FENDERSON SCOTT
Attorney Kathryn Fenderson Scott is originally from Bangor Maine, and moved to St. Petersburg, Florida in 1988. Mrs. Fenderson Scott received her law degree from Stetson College of Law in 1995. Prior to law school, Mrs. Fenderson Scott attended Eckerd College and received her undergraduate degree in Business and International Studies in 1992. Attorney Fenderson Scott excelled in law school in the area of torts (personal injury) and received the American Jurisprudence award in that subject twice.

Mrs. Fenderson Scott began working as an associate in a personal injury firm in 1995 and joined Charles Scott for form Scott and Fenderson in 1997.
